Technician Contractor Policies

Policy package version: 2026-10-12.shop-network.v1

Independent contractor status

Applying to or participating in the technician network does not create employment, guaranteed assignments, minimum hours, or guaranteed earnings. Technicians remain responsible for obligations that apply to their independent business unless a signed agreement states otherwise.

Qualification and activation

Declarations, résumé claims, and assessment results do not create dispatch authority. Identity, screening, credential, safety, payment-account, availability, and activation requirements may apply before work is offered.

Assignment choice and compensation

Available scope, location, timing, rate, and material terms are shown before an assignment is accepted. A technician may decline an offered assignment. Off-platform solicitation or payment circumvention is prohibited.

Safety, authorization, and evidence

Perform only authorized work within the accepted scope. Stop on unsafe conditions, unclear device or site authority, conflicting instructions, or material scope changes. Required check-in, current-state evidence, change evidence, and closeout records must be accurate and must not expose unnecessary credentials or personal data.

Conduct and confidentiality

Harassment, discrimination, threats, fraud, fabricated evidence, credential misuse, unauthorized access, and disclosure of customer or platform information are prohibited. Use customer and service information only for the assigned work and approved support processes.

Quality, review, and enforcement

Amor Nexus may review work quality, safety, policy compliance, evidence, and customer concerns. Material violations may result in remediation, suspension, removal from an assignment, or termination from the network, subject to applicable review and appeal processes.

Shop organization responsibility

An authorized Shop representative must keep organization information and the worker roster accurate, promptly remove workers who should no longer act through the Shop, and cooperate with verification, safety, quality, and audit requests. Organization verification, payment setup, capability approval, and activation are separate requirements.

Worker choice and individual eligibility

A Shop invitation does not enroll or qualify a worker. The worker must separately sign in and accept the affiliation. Each worker remains subject to individual identity, screening, capability, availability, geography, capacity, safety, and assignment requirements and may decline work under the existing network rules.

Affiliation changes

A Shop or worker may end an affiliation for future offers. Removal takes effect for future selection and assignment checks and does not rewrite completed missions, historical evidence, or valid settlement records. A worker may not maintain conflicting active Shop affiliations.
